‘Allegro’, a new show by Opera Fantasy, offers some well-known arias from classic operas (such as Bizet’s Carmen, Verdi’s The Troubadour, Puccini’s Turandot, Rossini’s Barber of Seville, and Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffman) along with highlights from contemporary versions of operas and musicals (like Madama Butterfly and The Phantom of the Opera) and popular lyrical melodies. Susanna Del Saz (mezzo-soprano), Elena Martinell Vilata (soprano), Ulises Ordúñez (baritone) and Giorgio Elmo (tenor) give extraordinary performances of the selected pieces. The staging is both unique and innovative.
