Friday afternoon means it’s the weekend – and a fabulous way to get started is with an artistic treat in the 17th century Palau Gomis, in the Born neighbourhood of Barcelona.
This palace now harbours the Museu Europeu d'Art Modern (MEAM), which invites you to contemplate the works of figurative modern art (from the 20th and 21st centuries) displayed there. Enjoy a tour at your own leisure, without guide, followed by an excellent acoustic concert of blues music, which takes place in the Noble Hall of the MEAM.
 

While you contemplate the Hall itself and its décor of plastic arts, you will find yourself in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with sounds of jazz, blues, swing and other musical styles (depending on the programme, which changes every Friday).
The price includes entrance to the three-storey MEAM museum (without guided tour) and the concert (from 18.00 to 19.15, approx.).
